Psychological Effects
There are four lobes of the brain, and in each of the lobes, there are different effects that hallucinogens have on each one of these lobes. Psychological
Frontal Lobe
Hallucinogens affect all reasoning. You do not have any reasoning of your actions, and your planning is completely useless. Problem solving is also greatly affected. Hallucinogens also greatly affect your emotions, and will bring your through rapid mood swings. You could be extremely euphoric, and suddenly turn aggressive and violent. The user loses all control of all of these things, and simply cannot contain them-self
Parietal Lobe
The parietal lobe has to do with touch, pressure, temperature and pain. Hallucinogens can affect all of this. You could touch and feel objects that are actually just hallucinations. Pain could occur randomly when pain should not occur at all, and temperature could be completely different. Hallucinogens affect the parietal lobe greatly.
Temporal Lobe
Hallucinogens seriously mess up your temporal lobe. Your entire auditory system is out of order. You may not hear things that are occurring, or entirely the opposite. Auditory hallucinations are tremendously common when using hallucinogens. People may be talking or yelling, sirens could be blaring, anything you can imagine could sound when using this classification of drug. However, the user does not know these things are hallucinations, and will believe what they are hearing. This can put the user, and other people around in a seriously dangerous situation.
Occipital Lobe
The occipital lobe has to do with vision. You may get dizzy, have blurry vision, loss of coordination, and lack of depth perception, however the greatest effect is hallucinations, hence the name. Visual hallucinations will occur, causing the user to literally see objects that are not real. This may be as simple as colors, to entire complex plot lines, and scenes happening in front of them with real people. This could put the user, and other people near into extreme danger. The user could kill people, as it has happened before. These hallucinations are not a joke, and in reality, are very life threatening.
